Mojojo is that you? Heck. Not only humans have awarded in the military service, monkeys too! 



In fact, a South African Monkey awarded and received gold wound stripe, & 3 blue service chevrons for his military services.

On April 26, Maitland Dispersal Camp, Cape Town, Jackie was discharged and put to a military pension with Civil Employment Form.



Jackie was discovered on farm in South Africa by its owner Albert Marr just before World War One. Jackie is a highly intelligent monkey. He has very keen eyesight and acute hearing at night.

On 31 July 1920, Jackie received the Pretoria Citizen's Service Medal. Jackie died on 22 May 1921. Albert Marr died in Pretoria,
aged 84, in August 1973.
